November 29th, 2011: CPP training event at John Muir National Historic Site; see an article in the Martinez News-Gazette covering the workshop

November 2011: the CPP is featured in a new Park Science article, Parks use phenology to improve management and communicate climate change, on which Angie Evenden (a co-PI for the California Phenology Project) is a co-author 

October 30th- November 4th, 2011: UCSB team visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks adding two new species to the list of CPP focal species (represented by >40 tagged individuals!)

October 26th, 2011: CPP lecture at Black Rock Visitor Center (Joshua Tree National Park), "The California Phenology Project at Joshua Tree National Park: Monitoring Phenological Activity and its Link to Climate Change"

Fall 2011: check out a new article, titled Out of Sync, in the National Parks Magazine (produced by the National Parks Conservation Association) that discusses the CPP's work in California
